| Raised $17,000 for the Sunshine Foundation: Dreams for Kids in 2008 |

| This exciting event originated in Thunder Bay, Ontario as a means of bringing the top names of curling together in support of the Community and Charity. Top curlers from Canada and around the world were invited to join the local community and skip a team of club and recreational curlers, all of whom raised pledges in support of charity. Over the first 25 years, more than $800,000 was raised through their efforts. |

| Even more exciting, in its 26th year, the Heart to Heart Celebrity Bonspiel has moved to Sudbury! The previous committee has been working with and supporting the efforts of the Sudbury curling community to help this event grow. The Sudbury Curling Club will play host to 24 of the world’s top curlers from past and present April 16th – 18th, 2009. We will be opening the field to 72 curlers who wish to join the ranks of the “greats” in support of the Sunshine Foundation: Dreams for Kids. |
